I'm trying out this software right now- that simplifies sharing information between computers. Uses strong keys. Might work well for sharing docs from my work computer (VPN) to home, or even just home to home- which I've always had a problem setting up.Virtual Office, Desktop Collaboration Software, Secure File Sharing - Groove Virtual Office

(Update: 12/16/2004) Ok. Guess I should come back and update on this once in a while. You, know. This thing is a memory hog. So much so as to make it unusable. After a few searches on the web, I found others saying the same thing. The concept is great. Unfortunately the implementation falls short.

Here's a link on engadget that's a tutorial on how to use the Andrea photo mosaic softwareHow-To: Make your own photo mosaics - Engadget - www.engadget.com

I used a photo mosaic program that came with a cheap Kodak camera several years back to turn about 450 pictures of my kids into a giant mosaic of my wife with my kids for Mother's day. People who come to the house regularly comment about how cool it is- and how can they make one. Here's the answer.. Some freeware that will build a mosaic. If you're scanning pictures- leave yourself lots of time to scan 400-1000 pictures to get a good mosaic.AndreaMosaic's Home Page
